Potty training

We bought Selah a potty!  We put it in the kitchen because our bathroom is a little small.  No pee in it yet.  The books all say just put it out to get her familiar with it.  Tonight was the first night she actually sat on it.

She has Yo Gabba Gabba big girl undies too!

It's nice when you know women locally that have kids the same age as your kids.  When I found out I was pregnant with Selah, I was like the 5th person at my job that was pregnant and there were at least 5 more after me!  I swear there was something in the water!  Recently my friend Katie and I took our lil ones to the local Chuck E Cheeses.  It was the first time for both of them.  The only ride they both seemed to like was the carousel.  They rode it like 4 times in a row!
I love that they get along!
Mommies need to have fun too!  Haha I think its funny we are completely ignoring our kids in the background!:)
We played for a good two hours and had a visit from our friend Erin from work, who also recently had a beautiful baby named Preston.  I give our play date 2 thumbs up!  Until next time:)

Immunizations:(

Today we had to go to the doctors office to get Selah's shots:(  We are on a delayed schedule for immunizations, so we are continually playing catch  up.  Today she got three shots.  She barley cried!  Probably cause she had a lollipop in her mouth! haha!
Everything else went smoothly.  She is in the developmentally on schedule.  Even doing a lot of things on the 18 month check up list!  She says about 11 words now ( and knows there meaning)  She can make animal sounds.  She can follow thru with simple tasks and can comminicate in sign with at least 10 signs!
She is getting soooooo big.  Cant believe she will be 16 months on the 18th.  Its hard to remember her as a teeny tiny baby!
Greg and I have finally agreed that beginning in October we will start to try for baby #2!
Crazy:)

Weekend trip to Leo Carillo!

This past weekend Greg and I took a weekend trip to Leo Carillo.  With no baby!  This was the first time we have left over the weekend alone since Selah was born!  It was a nice, relaxing weekend, but boy did I sure miss her!
It was super windy and cold.  The forecast said it was going to rain all weekend, but it was rain free all day Saturday.  So we took the opportunity and went hiking
 The beginning of the hike!
 There were many cool caves!
My hubby leading the hike!  Boy was I sore after!
Tons of sea life!  There were starfish, sea anemones, crabs and more!
 Love
 The beginning of curls?
The sweetest face ever!
