Selahs 1st Halloween!

We had a successful 1st Halloween with Selah! She was a lil trooper, despite the fact it was clearly way past her bedtime......she let us know!:) Greg and I took her trick or treating in our neighborhood and then made the leisurely walk to downtown Huntington beach. A lot going on down there! Bounce houses, petting zoos, and pony rides filled the streets. While lil firemen, princesses, clowns and karate kids clogged up the sidewalks. We spent a total of 15 min there!:) Much to crowded for us. So we walked home receiving candy all the way home..and now I'm stuffing my face full of chocolate:)

She was a ladybug, but I guess some people have never seen this weird bug before because they keep calling her a bumble bee or better yet, a cute boy...mmmmm not so much;)

By the end of the night our pumpkin bucket was full and Selah was tired! She got to eat her first lollipop and candy tonight and we got home with enough time for Greg and I to watch some scary movies:)

I apologize for not blogging recently! Greg and I just recently moved! Haha really just four blocks down, but its a 2 bedroom with a large kitchen ( I will post pics soon) We are officially done unpacking, but now comes the hard part of cleaning up the old place..Ugh! I hope this is the last move we will have to do in a while!
Today was a beautiful day here in Cali! My mother in law was in town so we went out to lunch at the corner bakery and then we headed down to the beach to relax and surf...me not Jan:) haha. It was nice to get in the water and also have someone on the beach to watch Selah. After we got done surfing we were mighty hungry so we cruised down to Wahoos downtown and stuffed ourselves silly:) Off to bed, enjoy the pictures from this afternoon at the beach.

Pure cuteness

Today we went to our local pumpkin patch to get us in the spirit of Halloween. Not much we could do there with a 10 month old! But we did get to feed the animals in the petting zoo. Which was super fun and enjoyable. Selah was talking to the animals and even helped me feed some goats, ducks and bunnies too!
